Mud & Soil Stain Removal

Children seem to love rolling around in mud whilst playing outside - I guess we'll never work out why! With Vanish there's no need to worry about mud and soil stains as our powerful stain remover takes the hard work away for you. Follow the instructions below to get started.

HOW TO REMOVE MUD & SOIL STAINS

To get those nasty mud & soil stains out, we recommend using Vanish Power O2 Powder or Vanish Power Gel:

Vanish Power O2 Powder

Vanish Power O2 Powder: Soaking: Dissolve one scoop of Vanish Power O2 Powder in 4L of warm water (max 40°) and soak the stained item. For coloured fabrics, soak for max 1 hour and whites for max 6 hours. wash as usual. For best results add one scoop of Vanish to your wash.

Important: Always follow the usage instructions on the Vanish packaging. Do not use on wool, silk or leather. Do not use on finished or coated surfaces - for example wood, metals etc.

Vanish Power Gel

Apply the gel directly onto the stain, wait 5 minutes and wash normally adding one dose (60ml) of Vanish Power Gel to your wash.

Soaking is recommended for tough and dried in stains. Add one dose (60ml) of Vanish Power Gel to 4L of warm water and soak the stained fabric, coloured item for max 1 hour whites for max 6 hours. Wash as usual or rinse thoroughly.

Removing Mud & Soil Stains - Handy Tips

If you don't have a Vanish stain removal product to hand then don't worry. We're still able to provide some handy hints on removing stains. Vanish will help you remove the stains even once they have dried-in.

  • Let the mud dry thoroughly; do not attempt to wipe off the mud. It will only smear the stain onto more of the clothing.
  • Once the mud stain has dried, try shaking or vacuuming the area to remove dried clumps of mud. Rinse under water when complete.
